A young shepherd named Eli cannot sleep. Every night he lies awake while his flock rests peacefully around him. Then one evening, a mysterious silver-wooled ewe appears at the edge of his flock and begins to hum, a sound unlike any he has ever heard. Night after night she returns, and slowly, her humming teaches him something he never knew how to do: let go.
